Tim Maiura is a New Media Designer that currently resides and works in Charlotte, NC.
While still in school, he was recognized for his creative thinking and development skills by Adobe in the 2007 and 2008 Adobe Design Achievement Awards competition earning semi-finalist placement in the worldwide competition for his work on a breast cancer awareness website and the Rochester Institute of Technology's extreme winter sports website.
A graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology, one of the top design schools in the U.S., he earned a Bachelors degree of Fine Arts in New Media Design with a minor in Communications. His schooling allowed him to build a foundation in the art of design and the importance of incorporating design elements and user interaction.
In 2008, he joined Luquire George Andrews, a leading advertising, public relations and new media agency in Charlotte, NC in the position of new media designer.
His portfolio consists of an array of clients such as Lowe's Home Improvement, NFL Physicians Society, NC State and interior designer Elaine Griffin, in the areas of sports, higher education, medicine and home decor.
